Business Development Academy of Missoula
Missoula’s economy is supported by many small businesses. With the help of Anderson Zurmuehlen, the Missoula Chamber of Commerce was able to launch the Business Development Academy of Missoula. This program is designed to meet the training needs of local businesses at an affordable rate. Participants learn new skills that enhance their work environment and finish the 10 month series of courses with a strategic plan for their organization.

The Missoula Community faces many issues that affect working and living here. The Missoula Chamber of Commerce provides quarterly forums that provide resources and information that can help businesses and citizens prepare for the future.
For 30 years, the Missoula Chamber of Commerce has been helping citizens prepare for leadership roles in the local community. Leadership Missoula is a 10 month program that entrenches participants in every aspect of the Missoula community. Each LM day is filled with local speakers and tours of the places that are a part of Missoula’s history and unique personality.
Montana has many industries that require employees to continually strive for safety and awareness. The Missoula Chamber of Commerce’s Safety Committee plays an active role in reducing the number of work place deaths and injuries. Every month, the Safety Committee features a different topic ranging from personal ergonomics to safe trenching techniques.
